Abstract
Occupational Health Nursing (OHN) is a surgical practice that independently has its own specifications, such as oncology surgery, Informatics surgery, and Emergency Nursing. In OHN, of course, we will deepen the occupational health aspect from a homicide perspective. The aim of this research is to explain how occupational health and safety theories or lectures taught in homicide lectures are used in practice in the field/industry. The method used is qualitative research, phenomenological studies with an exploratory approach, questionnaire questions are submitted to participants: OHN practitioners, OHN course developer lecturers, and practitioners who also develop OHN knowledge as educators as well. Questionnaires are given in the WhatsApp Group to ensure time efficiency and not disturb participants' time. The results of this research found that those who were OHN practitioners did not receive OHN lectures, only received material on occupational health and safety in general. The participants who were lecturers suggested creating a separate course because if it were included in local content courses such as K3 and Patient Safety or Community Nursing is very narrow and does not even explore Occupational Health aspects from a bleeding perspective. The conclusion of this research is that it is necessary to conduct further studies where theory or lectures in faculties or cultivation schools are truly taught with evidence base practice so that the OHN knowledge taught can be in accordance with practice in the field/industry.
